MOVE is a return-to-work provider working within QLD frameworks to support workers and employers with compensable and non-compensable injuries.
Our staff are all accredited in line with the Heads of Workers Compensation Authorities (HWCA) principles of practise for workplace rehabilitation providers. As such, under the Workcover QLD compensation scheme they provide our services.
If a worker has sustained an injury at work our rehabilitation consultants work with you, your insurance provider, and your employee to streamline the rehabilitation process and cohesively execute a graduated return to work plan. Our role is to work effectively with relevant stakeholders to achieve a timely and appropriate return to work.
This may include:
- Workplace Assessments and role modifications
- Suitable Duties Plans (graduated return to work programs)
- Recommendations on functional capacity and job suitability
- Recommendations on recovery timelines
- Recommendations on workplace/role modifications to avoid worker re-injury
- In the event of a worker being unable to return to their previous employer, MOVE will assist the processes involved in reaching the goal of new employment. This may be inclusive of retraining dependent on the needs of the worker.
